In questo caso approfondiamo, quelle che sono ormai alcune tematiche entrate anche nel nostro gergo comune. Parliamo di Smart Working parliamo di Cyber Security. Questi termini che ormai bene o male, sono comprensibili un po' a tutte le masse, ed esprimono sempre nuovi nuovi concetti. Per cui tenteremo di approfondire un po' la tematica grazie a degli esperti in linea con noi, gli esperti della Head of Italy, in questo caso, Sebastiano Piccinno al telefono con noi. Radio News 24: Eccoci qua. Allora la vostra è una realtà che ha che fare con ormai le nuove frontiere del lavoro e non solo.
Sebastiano Piccinno: Esatto, esatto. La nostra società appunto è la Right People Group, è una società internazionale di consulenza informatica che si dedica ad aiutare le aziende nella gestione dei loro progetti in ambito IT. Questo tramite collaborazione con consulenti esterni che sono principalmente consulenti freelance, quindi dalla nostra esperienza abbiamo avuto modo di sperimentare in prima persona quelli che sono stati gli effetti del Covid-19, l’impatto che questo ha avuto sulle professioni digitali, sulle nuove modalità di lavoro che sono emerse. Quindi anche il cambio, delle preferenze rispetto a quelle che prima potevano essere attività prevalentemente in loco a collaborazioni da remoto.
Radio News 24: Assolutamente, quindi già una realtà chiaramente vissuta da voi ancor prima di tante altre realtà (smart working) che l'hanno purtroppo vissuta invece durante le fasi di lockdown.
Sebastiano Piccinno: Esatto esatto. Diciamo che la particolarità di questo periodo è stata appunto che prima questo mutamento delle abitudini di lavoro era stato provocato in maniera forzata dalla situazione di emergenza, mentre attualmente è diventata una prassi comune per diverse aziende, che ha dato avvio poi a quella che viene definita una trasformazione digitale, anche se in parte ancora incompleta bisognosa ancora di qualche ulteriore step.
Radio News 24: Infatti. Allora, tra le tante vostre attività chiaramente ci indicano la trasformazione digitale. Vogliamo provare a spiegare ai nostri ascoltatori di cosa si tratta?
Sebastiano Piccinno: Sì. Trasformazione digitale sostanzialmente significa poter abilitare le aziende con quelli che sono gli strumenti tecnologici a disposizione e in questo modo abilitare anche forme di lavoro alternative come quella dello Smart Working. Diciamo che fino ad ora più che una trasformazione digitale vera e propria abbiamo assistito ad una trasformazione socio-culturale, perché ha permesso diciamo di allentare quelle che erano le barriere nei confronti del lavoro da casa. Per poterla definire però una trasformazione digitale vera e propria, appunto bisognerebbe capire che gli strumenti che sono stati utilizzati erano già a nostra disposizione quindi nulla di nuovo, semplicemente non erano stati sfruttati al massimo del potenziale, ed inoltre per poterla definire appunto una trasformazione digitale completa dovremmo abbracciare completamente il concetto di Smart Working ed essere coscienti che in realtà è ben diverso da quello a cui siamo stati abituati in questo periodo che viene definito più propriamente telelavoro, lavoro da remoto diciamo.

Sebastiano Piccinno: Yes. Digital transformation essentially means providing the companies with available technological tools, so that we can enable alternative work modalities, such as remote working. Let’s say that until now, more than an actual digital transformation, we have been witnessing a socio-cultural transformation that has allowed us to loosen the barriers towards working from home. To be able to define it as a digital transformation is necessary to understand that the tools used were already available. It was nothing new, but simply people were not employed at their full potential. Indeed, to define it as a complete digital transformation, we need to fully encompass the concept of smart working and be aware that in reality, it is much different than what we have gotten used to during this period, which is better defined as tele-working or let’s say remote working.
